International Blue Flag and Green Coast Awards Ceremony

An Taisce - The National Trust for Ireland in cooperation with Kerry County Council  2015 International Blue Flag and Green Coast Awards Ceremony.  

The awards will be presented by Mr. Alan Kelly TD, Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government on Thursday May 28th at 12.00 on Ballinskelligs Beach, Co. Kerry

"The Green Coast Awards is an award for beaches that meet the excellent standard for water quality as set out in the Bathing Water Directive but may not have the necessary built infrastructure to achieve Blue Flag status. An important element of this award is that these beaches have a beach management plan in place and that the local community are engaged in this process."
